DISTINCTIONS:Rapidly growing tree; tolerates wet soil; leaves silvery on the underside.
LIMITATIONS:Branches tend to be weak; suckers.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 4)
ORIGIN:Hybrid between P. deltoides and P. nigra
CULTIVARS:‘Tower’ Tower poplar; same as the numbered variety #7315; hardier than Lombardy poplar; upright columnar canopy.
