HEIGHT:8 - 20 feet
SPREAD:10 - 15 feet
DISTINCTIONS:Irregular, picturesque habit; shrubby or prostrate; when young; tree-like with age; bottlebrush appearance; good in dry rocky soils; tolerates full wind with little winter burn; longest lived tree species; needles in clusters of 5; .75"-1.5" long, with white resin dots.
LIMITATIONS:Slow growing; needs well-drained soil and more testing in southeast Alaska.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 3)
ORIGIN:Southwest United States.
