DISTINCTIONS:Compact, mounded form; violet-blue flowers; bluish, grayish foliage, aromatic when crushed; moist, well-drained, acidic soil; full sun to partial shade; widely grown in Juneau; flower buds hardy to -25°
LIMITATIONS:Not sure of hardiness in south central Alaska.
HARDINESS:SE (Zone 5)
ORIGIN:Hybridized in New Jersey in 1940s. R.fastigiatum X R. neriiflorum; R. fastigilatum X carolinianum
