LIMITATIONS:Prefers a warm site for best growth; needs well-drained soil; small fruit size; susceptible to mildew.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 5)
ORIGIN: Introduced by University of South Dakota; cross between Fredonia and wild grape, V. riparia.
CULTIVARS:‘Valiant’ hardy in SC; a ‘Concord’ type grape; hardy to Zone 3.
