DISTINCTIONS:Pyramidal when young, maturing to spreading rounded form; leaves 4" to 9" long, 7 to 9 rounded lobes, pinkish when emerging, changing to dark bluish green; fall color ranges from brown to reddish purple; fruit is light brown acorn with scaly cap; fissured gray bark.
